Blog N°6: My favorite TV show.

Hey everyone, during the quarantine I discovered a lot of content to see, today I'll tell you about the one that became my favorite.

                                                          

  

 

Rust Valley Restores, is a TV show from 2018 that you can find on netflix and History Channel, it shows us Mike's life as a classic car collector waiting to be restored, where with his team, they will look for a way to make money fast before the debts leave him with nothing, all the program show us funny moments doin everything for restore a fantastic classic car. 

 

The program has two seasons and each final result leaves you amazed, I devoured the whole series in less than a week (thanks quarantine), I really recommend it, its so funny especially one of the integrant his name is Avery.

Blog N°5: A story behind a photograph.

Hello everyone, how was your day? Pictures can tell many stories, today I will tell you one of them.

La foto que nos tomamos con mi madre en el Mar Rosado.

A year ago, together with my mother, we took a trip to Cartagena de Indias, Colombia. One of the destinations I remember most is the Salinas de Galerazamba or Mar Rosado, which has a special place to take photographs as you can see in the picture. 

Our destination was one hour away from the hotel where we stayed at that time, so we took a tour. This beautiful pink image is produced from a natural phenomenon of the great salt concentration in the sea where at the moment of raining, the water drops break the salt granules creating this phenomenon (we were lucky that it rained days before we go hahaha)  

I'd love to tour places like this again, just waiting for the quarantine to be over before we go out again.

Blog 4: My favorite music band.

Heeey, how have you been? Very well, I hope.

Let me tell you about my favorite music band (which was very hard to decide on one by the way).

I like different genres but one of my favorites is Cumbia, to forget the pain.  

My favorite band is called Santa Feria, the famous cumbia casera in Chile. Known for songs like "Sakate 1" or "Algún día Volveras", what I like about them are their lyrics and the rhythm that accompanies these, my favorite songs are  "Gil de tu ex", "Ahora te vas" and a tribute made to Violeta Parra with the song "Yo canto a la diferencia".

 

The times I've seen them live are too many, if there's an event where they play I'll probably be there, I even saw them in Frutillar on my vacation, it was amazing.

Blog 3: My favorite piece of technology

Hey everyone, I hope you're all right.

It is undeniable that technology is here to stay, so today I will talk about my favorite piece.

I just can't live without my cell phone, it's all in one, don't you think? It is very useful especially in the context we are in, where it brings us a little closer to our loved ones and informs us about various facts around the world.

I love how easy it is for me to use it anywhere, I also listen to music most of the time, I can't travel without my headphones and besides, I save every moment through my camera, and the various applications it has, I love it.

Delibera Torunament Award.

Hey everybody, how was your day? 

Today I'll tell you a little bit about my decision to study public administration.

Since I was a child, I liked to participate in collaborative or management instances within my school, even in my last year I participated in an inter-school tournament called "Delibera", organized by the "Biblioteca del Congreso Nacional de Chile". This event opened my curiosity to contribute in some way to the community.

Now, in my second year I feel satisfied with my educational and personal development, I hope to continue in this to contribute in a future within my country. I would like to work in some area related to children, thinking about that idea is very exciting for me.

Meeting my university.

My name is Alexandra Ibarra Bragado, but my friends call me Ale, I have eigtheen years old, my zodiac sign is Taurus, which one is yours?

I was born in Santiago, Chile and I always live in the borough of Maipú with my mom and my older brother.

The last year (2019), I start my university studies in public administration at the “Universidad de Chile”. In the picture I present to you my classmates.

Now to the contingency, the university is doing online class, meanwhile with my family we are waiting for get back to normal.
